Repair-Only Accidental Damage Cover

What is Switch Store Care+?

Switch Store Care+ is a paid service and repair plan that covers one (1) accidental damage repair for your Apple device, giving you peace of mind beyond the standard warranty. This is not insurance.

Accidental damage means sudden, unexpected physical damage from normal use (for example: drops, impact, or liquid spills).

What's covered (1 incident)

  • One (1) accidental damage repair within the coverage period
  • Screen damage from drops/impact
  • Physical damage from drops/impact (repairable components)
  • Liquid exposure where repair is technically feasible after inspection

What's not covered

  • Loss or theft
  • Cosmetic-only damage (scratches, scuffs, dents) that does not affect functionality
  • Battery ageing / battery wear
  • Software issues, malware/viruses, data recovery
  • Accessories (chargers, cables, cases, etc.)
  • Intentional damage, misuse, or negligence
  • Devices repaired or opened elsewhere, or tampered with
  • Pre-existing faults or damage present before plan registration

Important Limits (Read This)

  • Repair-only. No replacement.
  • No cash refunds or payouts.
  • Coverage is limited to one (1) repair incident and is capped at the plan's maximum service value for your model (as listed on your receipt/plan schedule at purchase).
  • Repair timelines depend on parts availability and inspection results. Same-day service is not guaranteed.
  • Switch Store may refuse coverage where damage is not accidental, where the device is tampered with, or where repair is not technically feasible.

How it works

  1. Buy Switch Store Care+ with your device
  2. Your device is registered by serial number
  3. If accidental damage occurs, bring it to Switch Store
  4. We inspect the device and, if eligible, we repair it under the plan limits

Coverage period

12 months from the purchase date. Coverage expires automatically.

Data responsibility

Back up your device before submitting it for repair. You are responsible for passcodes and backups. Switch Store is not responsible for data loss.
